Lumber
		Almost all species manufactured to veneers by us can also be supplied as lumber. Though our emphasis lies on European hard woods, we also stock all other popular species for you. All standard thicknesses are available and special thicknesses are custom-cut to your order at short notice. Our modern drying facility ensures careful and easy drying with additional drying facilities being in planning to increase our capacities in this field as well. No matter if it concerns the production of veneer or lumber, our special attention is always placed on quality. Logs intended for lumber are inspected and graded individually by our own Fritz Kohl buying experts. Our log band saw of latest standard ensures constant thicknesses and best cutting quality. It goes without saying that all of our dried lumber is stocked under roof. In addition to lumber, we also offer you backing boards in all of these species. Vertical year rings are your guarantee against buckle and make these backing boards ideal for solid wood production, as long as no sequence is required. Thicknesses of 18 mm to 22 mm are standard.
